TradingPro (Bundle ID: trading.insights) is designed with your privacy as a default. We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the app.
Information you provide:
- Watchlist symbols, portfolio data, and trading preferences saved locally to your device
- Chart preferences and app settings
Information collected automatically:
- Crash reports and diagnostic data (via Apple's opt-in system, if you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in your device settings)
- Aggregate, anonymous usage statistics (e.g., which features are used most — no personally identifiable information)
We do not collect: your name, email, location, contacts, browsing history, or any media content from your library without explicit action.
How We Use Information
Any information collected is used solely to:
- Provide and improve the core trading & market analysis functionality
- Diagnose and fix crashes or technical issues
- Understand which features are valuable to users (in aggregate, anonymously)
- Respond to support requests you initiate
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating and improving the app.
Data Storage & Security
All your trading data and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate cloud servers that store your content.
If you use iCloud backup (controlled by your macOS/iOS settings), your project files may be included in your personal iCloud backup — this is governed by Apple's iCloud privacy policy, not ours.
We implement industry-standard security practices within the app and follow Apple's App Sandbox guidelines to prevent unauthorised access to your data.
Children's Privacy
TradingPro is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability
Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete the app at any time to remove all locally stored data. For any other requests, contact us at the address below.
